BSE Sensex Recovers 341 Points, Ends Losing Streak

Mumbai, March 18: The BSE Sensex rebounded with a gain of 341 points, snapping a five-day losing streak. It closed at 74,169.95, marking a 0.46% increase, supported by strong buying in banking stocks and a global market rally.

The NSE Nifty also saw a rise, gaining 111.55 points or 0.50% to settle at 22,508.75. Among the top gainers were Bajaj Finserv, Mahindra & Mahindra, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank, while stocks like ITC, Nestle, and Reliance Industries saw declines.

IndusInd Bank witnessed a significant jump of 5.30% during intra-day trading after the Reserve Bank of India assured that the bank remains well-capitalized, despite an accounting discrepancy.
