Sikkim CM Meets Union Minister Scindia, Discusses Development Priorities

New Delhi, April 13: Prem Singh Tamang, Chief Minister of Sikkim, held a cordial meeting with Jyotiraditya Scindia in New Delhi, focusing on key developmental priorities of the State.

During the meeting, the two leaders engaged in detailed discussions on crucial sectors including tourism, agriculture, and infrastructure. They also conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing and upcoming projects aimed at accelerating growth in Sikkim.

The Chief Minister apprised the Union Minister of several new initiatives designed to promote holistic and sustainable development across the State. He highlighted Sikkim’s continued emphasis on organic farming, youth empowerment, and effective implementation of development programmes.

Tamang expressed his gratitude for the consistent support extended by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Government of India, towards the State’s progress. He also shared his vision for inclusive and sustainable growth in Sikkim.

Extending a warm invitation, the Chief Minister urged Scindia to visit Sikkim and experience its natural beauty and serene environment.

The Union Minister assured full cooperation and support for the State’s developmental agenda. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to the overall progress of Sikkim and the North Eastern region.
