National, 12 September 2025: Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani, an Institute of Eminence, is proud to announce that Honourable Chancellor Shri Kumar Mangalam Birla and one distinguished member of its academic community, Professor B. M. Reddy, Senior Professor Emeritus at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, have been elected as Fellows of the prestigious Indian National Science Academy (INSA) in 2025. Shri Kumar Mangalam Birla a visionary and remarkable leader, has also been elected as an INSA Fellow this year. This significant honor for Shri Birla, a visionary leader and patron of education, highlights his profound influence beyond the corporate world and his dedication to fostering scientific advancement.
Professor Reddy’s election is a testament to his outstanding academic career and his enduring impact on the scientific community. He is already an elected Fellow of several esteemed organizations, including the Indian National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Sciences, India.
