Bengaluru, June 8 : Ashirvad by aliaxis, India’s leading provider of plumbing and water management solutions, has once again upheld its commitment to community well-being by organising a series of Specialized Health Check-up Camps for Bengaluru City Police personnel. The initiative is aimed at supporting the health of frontline workers who tirelessly work towards the safety and security of society at large. About 650 police personnel, including 80 women, registered and underwent nearly 4,000 preventive health screenings as part of the health camps.

The programme was implemented in partnership with Smile Foundation and provided access to essential preventive medical facilities for police personnel who often face demanding work schedules and limited opportunities to prioritise their health.
The health camps were organised across 5 key police locations, Electronic City, Jigani, Attibele, Hebbagodi and Parappana Agrahara. It provided access to elaborate multi-speciality health screenings, including general physician consultations, cardiology screenings, spirometry and audiometry tests, eye screenings, laboratory diagnostics, as well as gynaecology consultations for women personnel.
Commenting on the same, Sudeep Agrawal, CFO & Head – CSR, Ashirvad by aliaxis said
“Our friends in uniform work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of citizens and often put their own lives aside while fulfilling their duties. It is our responsibility to support them in every way we can. Through these health camps, we hope to provide them with easier access to necessary medical check-ups, especially considering the long and demanding hours they work, even on days when the rest of us can take a break.”
The health check-up series concluded with a valedictory ceremony recognising the dedication of police workforce and the contribution of partner hospitals and volunteers who supported the successful completion of the programme. As part of the ceremony, mementos were presented to participating police stations and hospitals in appreciation of their efforts.
Speaking about the camp, Satish Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bangalore Police said,
“As police personnel, our duty is to ensure the safety and well-being of the public and that responsibility is non-negotiable. However, initiatives like these health camps remind us that our own health and welfare are equally important. Being physically and medically fit helps us to serve the community to the best of our ability. It is a thoughtful initiative by Ashirvad by aliaxis to bring these medical camps directly to us. Many personnel have benefited from these check-ups, and it also encourages us to pay greater attention to our own health.”
Santanu Mishra, Co-founder & Executive Trustee of Smile Foundation said,
“It is always a pleasure to collaborate with like-minded organisations to roll out initiatives that serve the larger societal good. This programme is a reminder of the importance of recognising and giving back to our uniformed heroes who work tirelessly for us. We are encouraged by the overwhelming response to the camps and aim to continue similar initiatives in the future too.”
