Built on Trust: Syncom Formulations Reports Strong Q1 Growth

Mumbai, Aug 13: Syncom Formulations Limited, a WHO-GMP and ISO 9001:2015 certified pharmaceutical company, reported a strong set of results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, marked by healthy growth in income and a significant improvement in profitability over the corresponding quarter last year. 

On a consolidated basis, the Company recorded total income of ₹133.36 crore for Q1 FY 2026-27, against ₹122.94 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a growth of 8 per cent. Profit before tax rose 59 per cent to ₹32.25 crore from ₹20.29 crore, while profit after tax increased approximately 58 per cent to ₹24.85 crore, compared with ₹15.75 crore a year earlier. Earnings per share improved to ₹0.26 from ₹0.17. Revenue from operations grew to ₹125.53 crore from ₹116.90 crore, an increase of nearly 7 per cent. 

The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.10 per equity share of face value ₹1 each for the financial year ended 31 March 2026, subject to the approval of shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.

The performance reflects the steady compounding of a business model the Company has followed for decades: ethical, prescription-led marketing built on long-term relationships with the medical fraternity, supported by consistent quality manufacturing and disciplined cost control.

Syncom‘s domestic business operates through six specialised divisions, supported by a dedicated field force of over 1,000 medical representatives with a genuine pan-India presence, engaging closely with the medical fraternity across gynaecology, fertility, gastroenterology, critical care and veterinary medicine. Within women’s healthcare, the Company’s Ovafresh and Ovafresh-M brands, marketed under the Cratus Evolve portfolio, rank among the leading brands in the IVF and gynaecology segment nationally. Through its generics and OTC arm, Syncom markets consumer brands including Megajoy, Asardar and Kabz All Fine, which enjoy wide pharmacy availability across the country. A dedicated cold chain network ensures temperature-sensitive formulations reach patients with their quality fully preserved. 

A Growing International Presence

Present in international markets since 2001, Syncom today exports to over 15 countries and holds product registrations and approvals from more than 10 international regulatory authorities. 

Manufacturing Backbone 

All products are manufactured at the Company’s WHO-GMP approved facility at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, a modern plant of approximately 2,50,000 sq. ft. producing tablets, capsules, liquid orals, injectables, ophthalmics and topical preparations.
