Wishes and Blessings Partners with Wari Foundation Hosted Seminar on Climate Anxiety for World Mental Health Day

New Delhi, 15th October 2024: On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Wishes and Blessings, in collaboration with the Wari Foundation, organized an insightful and impactful seminar addressing the growing issue of climate anxiety. This event was held at Kamala Nehru College, featured a dynamic partnership with the college’s Green Beans Society and brought together students, mental health professionals, and environmental experts for a crucial discussion on the intersection of climate change, stress, and well-being.

The seminar, titled “Climate Anxiety: Impact of Stress on Happiness and Well-being,” was addressed by esteemed members of Wari Foundation, Dr. Ritu Sharma, Satjyot Gill, and Nandini Garg, who shared their deep expertise, offering valuable insights into managing stress and anxiety arising from environmental challenges.

Dr. Geetanjali Chopra, Founder and President of Wishes and Blessings, emphasised the importance of addressing mental health concerns in connection with broader societal issues like climate change. “Climate anxiety is real, and it’s crucial we equip ourselves, especially our youth, with the tools to manage these rising concerns and safeguard their well-being,” said Dr. Chopra.
