WTC Bhubaneswar is an initiative of M.Visvesvaraya Industrial Research and Development Centre (MVIRDC), promoter of WTC Mumbai. It is one of the industries bodies in Bhubaneswar, which aims to promote the small scale industries, enterprises, and start-ups. Bhubaneswar has become a desired destination for investors as well as budding entrepreneurs. The institutes like IED also aiming to promote the startup ecosystem in Bhubaneswar, it recently started a ‘startup secretariat’ in its premises to help the startups in the state.
WTC Bhubaneswar has around 90 members and it has been organizing events to help its members, businessmen, and traders to understand the business concepts, it helps the local companies to connect with the global trade arena. The trade body is there to provide business solutions to local companies and SMEs to understand and boost their business. It is located in the IDCO premises at the newly extension building.
