KIIT College of Engineering Hosts First-Ever Parent-Teacher Meeting for B.Tech StudentsGurugram, 02nd September 2024: KIIT College of Engineering’s B.Tech (Computer Science) department hosted a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for its students, marking a groundbreaking initiative. This initiative marks a significant step towards fostering a collaborative relationship between the college, students, and their parents.

The PTM provided a platform for parents to engage directly with the faculty and discuss their child’s academic performance, attendance, and progress on various projects. Faculty members shared detailed insights about upcoming exams and project presentations, ensuring parents are well-informed and involved in their child’s academic journey.

The meeting saw an enthusiastic response, with over 40 parents attending in person, and many others joining online from various locations. This hybrid format allowed for greater participation and ensured that even parents residing out of town could be a part of this meaningful interaction.

Neelima Kamrah, Registrar of KIIT College of Engineering, commented on the initiative, saying, “We believe that active parental involvement is crucial for the holistic development of our students. This PTM is a step towards building a strong partnership with parents to support our students’ academic and personal growth.”

Parents expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to have one-on-one discussions with the faculty. They praised the college for taking this initiative, which they believe will greatly benefit their children by enhancing communication and understanding between the college and the families.

KIIT College of Engineering remains committed to innovative approaches that support student success and strengthen the institution’s bond with parents.
