Bangalore RnR Fit Gymnastics wins 11 National Medals for Karnataka Gymnastics

Bangalore, March 14, 2023: Bangalore RnR Fit Gymnastics wins 11 National Medals for Karnataka Gymnastics. The brainchild of husband and wife team Vivienne and Ebenezer, both former national level athletes, RnR Fit Gymnastics has been producing winning athletes in Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics for Karnataka State over the years.

In the National Sub Junior Artistic Gymnastics Championship 2022-23 held at Kolkata in February 2023, Karnataka won a Bronze medal and a Silver medal. Two gymnasts from RnR Fit, Anya Maria Dsouza & Ziva Esther Joel were a part of the team that won the Bronze medal in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Overall Championship. And RnR Fit’s Shashwat A Kothavale won a Silver for individual performance on the Floor in the U14 Men’s Artistic Gymnastics competition.

Beside this 4 Gymnasts from RnR Fit appeared in the All India top 20 ranking as follows:

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics All India Ranking: Oceana Renee Thomas – 6th, Ziva Esther Joel – 12th, Anya Maria Dsouza -16th

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics All India Ranking: Shashwat A Kothavale – 12th

At the CM Kohinoor Cup International Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship held at Hyderabad in Feb 2023, 5 gymnasts from RnR Fit won a huge haul of 9 medals for Karnataka State! And all 5 gymnasts placed in the top 5 overall ranking in their individual disciplines. The winners are as follows:

In the Under 10 category: Deethya KM won Silver in hoop & Silver in ribbon and placed 4th overall, while Saanvi Sharma won Bronze in ball and placed 6th overall.

In the Sub Junior category: Mili Jain won Bronze in Hoop and placed 5th overall in Ball

In the Junior category: Zarah Misra won a Silver in hoop, a Silver in ribbon and placed 3rd overall,

While Anushka Satyadev won a Bronze each in hoop and ribbon, a Silver in ball and placed 4th overall.

According to Vivienne, Founder, RnR Fit set out to do, “We created RnR Fit with a vision to train Gymnasts from across the country to win medals first for the State that they represent and then hopefully for our Country at International events. There is a huge potential in the Gymnastics sport and we have hired highly trained coaches who are mentored by none other than former Indian International coach Ms. Minara Begum!”

Ebenezer, Founder, RnR Fit adds, “We don’t just stop with training our gymnasts to perform, but also give them sports nutrition guidance, sports psychology counselling and sports physiotherapy sessions that help improve their mental and physical ability as sports persons.”
