This April, Novotel Pune invites guests to indulge in the rich culinary heritage and festive fervour of Punjab with a specially curated Punjabi Food Festival – Baisakhi Celebration at The Square. Scheduled from 10th to 19th April 2026, the festival promises an immersive dining experience that brings together bold flavours, rustic charm, and the joyous spirit of the harvest season.
Celebrating the essence of Baisakhi, the festival transforms The Square into a vibrant Punjabi pind (village) setting. The culinary experience is a highlight, with an elaborate spread inspired by Punjabi dhaba-style cuisine and festive delicacies. The menu showcases an array of dhaba classics, tandoor specialties, hearty Punjabi comfort food, traditional festive desserts, and refreshing Punjabi beverages. Enhancing the experience further are interactive live food stations, including a sizzling tandoor counter serving tikkas and kebabs, an Amritsari kulcha station, a live jalebi counter, and a refreshing lassi bar offering traditional flavours.
Complementing the flavours is an engaging cultural atmosphere with Punjabi folk music, soft instrumentals, and lively Bhangra beats during peak hours.
