IIMC Launches New PGD in Corporate Communication and Brand Management at Dhenkanal Campus

New Delhi, 13 May. The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), a Deemed to be University under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is pleased to announce the launch of a new Post Graduate Diploma programme (PGD) in Corporate Communication and Brand Management at its Eastern Regional Campus in Dhenkanal, Odisha, starting from the coming academic session 2025-26.

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), a Deemed to be University under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is pleased to announce the launch of a new Post Graduate Diploma programme (PGD) in Corporate Communication and Brand Management at its Eastern Regional Campus in Dhenkanal, Odisha, starting from the coming academic session 2025-26.

This exciting new programme is designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the rapidly evolving domains of corporate communication, reputation management, political communication, crisis communication, and brand strategy. It will equip students with the knowledge, tools, and practical skills to excel in corporate communication, media relations, internal and external communication, crisis management, brand storytelling and digital brand engagement.

The Dhenkanal campus, established in 1993, is IIMC’s second-oldest campus and a key media education hub for Eastern India. Situated in Odisha, a state buzzing with industrial growth, infrastructural expansion, and corporate investment, the campus provides an ideal location for such a forward-looking programme. With close proximity to Bhubaneswar, India’s emerging business and startup hub, students will benefit from rich industry exposure and networking opportunities.

The programme will offer 40 seats and will be conducted on IIMC Dhenkanal’s fully residential campus, which provides an enriching academic environment supported by modern facilities.

Admissions will be based on CUET-PG scores, in line with the institute’s admission policy. The admission process is expected to commence soon with the opening of IIMC’s online registration and counselling portal.
