Inside Biesse 2022- Transforming the woodworking machine manufacturing industry

Bangalore, June 2022: Inside Biesse, Biesse’s largest event to date, was hosted at the company’s Nelamangala site. During the week-long event, over 500 people were in attendance. Those in attendance were able to have a glimpse of Biesse’s 12 state of the art machines that were showcased at their Nelamangala showroom.

The event boasted two knowledge sharing sessions led by notable dignitaries Mr Gopal Dwivedi, AVP, LivSpace who addressed the topic ’Defining Modern Homes: Role of Modular Furniture’ and Mr Prahallada K.N., Chief Program Officer, Biesse India spoke on ‘Upskilling in the Advanced Woodworking Technology’. During his talk, Mr Dwivedi discussed the advancements in modular furniture, including the role of organised players, technology adoption in fulfilment and last mile, and so on. and Mr Prahallada spoke on the importance of upskilling and the need for advanced woodworking technologies. Biesse has always emphasized the need for new talent and has engaged in activities that resonate with its vision.

Both workshops sparked a lot of discussion, and the audience departed with a wealth of information on modern woodworking machinery.

Mr. Sayeed Ahmed, CEO, Biesse India remarked on Biesse’s hopes for more of such events in the future “Inside Biesse is becoming a major hotspot for the sector. Even though the event is geared toward businesses and larger groups, individual participants have also found plenty of educational resources. The public’s interest in furnishing and decor has revived as a result of this. With firms like Biesse supplying new technology to stay up with the demand, this industry in India is all set to flourish and we would like to be at the helm when it does” 

The event was a resounding success, with guests ecstatic to see the vitality of wood as a living material in numerous live demonstrations and to try out the newest technologies and techniques firsthand. The experience centre at Biesse, not only showcased state of the art machinery, but also had professionals with practical experience discuss subjects like efficiency, productivity, technology upskilling, digitization as well as cooperation and customer communication. The visitors experienced a diverse programme with strong professional expertise on important current topics that influence the whole business today and in the future.
