Gurugram: KIIT College of Education proudly announces its successful participation in an intensive training Program aimed at bolstering professional development and fostering a culture of excellence within the institution. This latest endeavor aligns with the college’s ongoing commitment to providing top-tier education and ensuring the continuous growth of its faculty and staff.
The UGC-IKS Masters’ training program, held at Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal, brought together first batch of 100 faculty, from various departments of various colleges from 5 Regions including Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Delhi NCT, chosen through rigorous filtering process. College Principal Dr Anshu Radha Agarwal congratulated both the faculty members –Dr Rachna Sharma and Dr Mouna Gupta for being selected and successfully completing this prestigious Masters’ Training program conducted by IKS division of Ministry of Education in collaboration with UGC.
While sharing their experience at Masters’ training, Dr Rachna and Dr Mouna told that they had enlightening sessions on different dimensions showcasing Indian wisdom which are in line with propagation of Indian Knowledge systems as per NEP 2020.Both the Master Trainers shared that Indian Knowledge systems encompass a wide range of sources, including manuscripts and old texts written in Indian languages, as well as craft and abilities of everyday people that continue to be passed down the generations.
Dr Indira Dhull, Director of KCED expressed her enthusiasm about the outcomes of the training program, stating, “At KCED, we believe in the power of continuous learning and professional development. This training program has equipped our faculty with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to excel in respective roles of spreading Bhartiya Gyan Parampara and serve our students.”
Dr Neelima Kamrah, Registrar, emphasized the significance of investing in Faculty and staff development, stating, “By investing in the professional growth of our team members, we are investing in the success of our students. The knowledge and expertise gained from this training will undoubtedly enhance the overall educational experience at KCED.”
