Central Bank of India today celebrated Swachhotsav

Central Bank of India today celebrated Swachhotsav with the Theme Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath at Girgaon Chowpatty, Mumbai. The employees gathered in large numbers under the leadership of Mahendra Dohare, Executive Director of the Bank, to promote the importance of cleanliness and environmental conservation.

To instill the habit of cleanliness in daily routines and contribute to ecological preservation, the Bank initiated this drive. During the event, a significant portion of Girgaon Chowpatty beach was cleaned by staff members of the Central Bank of India. 

Chief General Managers E. Ratan Kumar and Mukul Dandige appreciated the contributions of the staff members and commended the efforts of the Safai Mitras, who are doing a commendable job in keeping Mumbai clean. 

Mahendra Dohare, Executive Director of the Bank, emphasized that cleanliness should be a part of our daily routine. The highlight of the campaign is that the Bank has identified 4,000 plus sites across the country to be cleaned up by September 30, 2025, with active participation from its staff  members. He said that each and every person should make a habit of cleanliness in his daily life.

K. Kala, General Manager, stated that the Bank has conducted cleanliness drives nationwide through its offices. The Bank Executives, employees actively participated in the activities such as Cleanliness, walkathons, rallies, and tree plantation.
