ASSOCHAM Calls on MSMEs to Leverage Global Uncertainty for Growth and Partnerships

New Delhi, May 19: Industry body ASSOCHAM has urged Indian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to view ongoing global economic and geopolitical uncertainties as an opportunity to expand business partnerships and explore new growth avenues.

According to industry experts, changing global trade patterns and supply chain realignments are creating fresh opportunities for Indian businesses to strengthen their international presence and improve competitiveness.

ASSOCHAM emphasized that MSMEs should focus on innovation, export expansion, strategic collaborations, and greater technology adoption to take advantage of evolving market conditions. The organisation also highlighted the importance of building resilient supply chains and exploring new international business networks.

The chamber noted that Indian enterprises have previously demonstrated resilience during global disruptions and are well-positioned to convert present challenges into long-term opportunities.

Sectors such as manufacturing, services, digital technology, and export-oriented industries are expected to benefit significantly if MSMEs actively diversify markets and strengthen global engagement.

ASSOCHAM also stressed the need for continued policy support, improved ease of doing business, and better financial access to help MSMEs scale operations and contribute more effectively to India’s economic growth.
