CARE Hospitals Celebrates International Nurses Day Across Network Hospitals.

Hyderabad, May 12: CARE Hospitals organised special programmes across its network hospitals to mark International Nurses Day, recognising the growing role of nurses in modern healthcare systems. The celebrations were virtually inaugurated from the corporate office in Hyderabad, with participation from hospital leadership, clinicians, nursing teams, and staff across all units.

The initiative highlighted the evolving responsibilities of nurses, who today contribute significantly to clinical coordination, patient safety, quality outcomes, and healthcare leadership. The programmes included recognition ceremonies, educational and clinical awareness sessions, wellness initiatives, team engagement activities, and professional development sessions conducted across CARE Hospitals.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dr Pawan Kumar, CEO, CARE Hospitals, said that nurses are central to patient safety, care continuity, clinical excellence, and the overall patient experience within hospitals. He emphasised that modern healthcare systems depend on strong caregiving leadership, where nurses play a vital role not only as caregivers but also as key contributors to hospital culture and patient trust.

Dr Nikhil Mathur, Chief of Medical Services, noted that healthcare today is increasingly complex and outcome-driven, with nurses playing an essential role in clinical coordination, multidisciplinary care management, and patient safety systems. He stressed that strong nursing capability is critical for sustainable healthcare excellence.

Dr Vincy Tribhuvan, Vice President – Nursing Administration, highlighted that nurses shape both clinical outcomes and patient experience through compassionate care and emotional support.
