Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, begins MBA batch 2025-27 amidst industry experts

The inaugural session commenced with the lighting of the lamp, Saraswati Vandana, and a warm welcome to the distinguished guests. Prof. (Dr.) Daviender Narang, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the day. This was followed by the inaugural address by Mr. Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman of the Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions, who inspired the students with his insights. He told students of the new batch, “Today marks the beginning of a journey of new learnings, of making lifelong friendships, expanding your horizon and finding a true purpose in life.”

The program was graced by eminent industry leaders, including Mr. Alvin David, India Campus Head, Newgen Software, and Ms. Tanvi Madaan, Senior Director – L&D, NoBroker.com, who shared valuable insights as Guests of Honour. Mr. David said, “Ideas are cheap but execution is priceless. Therefore, focus on doing things passionately. Make things happen.” Ms. Madaan emphasized on the need to introspect and recognize one’s worth.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Kamal Bali, Managing Director & President, Volvo Group India, addressed the gathering with his perspectives on leadership and industry transformation. He said, “There are four big transformative influences students have to be aware of: the new geopolitical scenario, the shifts in economic globalization, prevalence of technologies like AI, and emphasis on Sustainability.”

The inaugural session concluded with an address and vote of thanks by Mr. Vinod Malhotra, Advisor, Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions, followed by a guest felicitation ceremony.

Post the inaugural session, the afternoon was dedicated to Spandan, an alumni experience-sharing session. Distinguished alumni from leading organizations such as Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Motors, Interglobe Aviation, and Jana Small Finance Bank engaged with the new batch, recounting their professional journeys and learnings from Jaipuria. Their stories offered inspiration and practical insights into the corporate world. The day-long program concluded on a note of enthusiasm and optimism, marking the beginning of an enriching academic and professional journey for the new batch of students.
