From classical dance and music to theatre, visual arts, and magic, Sammohan 2025 features inspiring performances that challenge stereotypes and highlight the limitless capabilities of children with disabilities. National award-winning performers, special schools, and disability organisations are part of this year’s line-up, making the festival a truly pan-India celebration of diversity and ability.

Speaking at the inauguration, Governor Rajendra Arlekar described the event as a deeply meaningful celebration of strength and determination. “These are our children, and I want to learn from them. They are teaching us what true strength means — how to face challenges with courage and how to live life with hope and determination. Raj Bhavan is always with you on this journey,” he said.

Founder and Executive Director of the Different Art Centre, Gopinath Muthukad, said Sammohan represents a collective commitment to building a more inclusive society. “Sammohan is more than a festival — it is a movement that celebrates the spirit and strength of these children. We are deeply grateful to Hon’ble Governor Rajendra Arlekar for his encouragement and presence, which strengthens our mission. With this support, we are inspired to continue this journey and take Sammohan to greater heights. The next edition of the festival will be held on September 26 and 27, 2026,” he said.
