New Delhi, Mar 11: Association of Hospitality Professionals (AHP) today inaugurated AHP Aatithya Mandapam, powered by Hotremai, during Hospitality Challenges – AAHAR Edition 2026 at Hall No. 1, First Floor, Bharat Mandapam. The five-day initiative, taking place from 10 to 14 March 2026, brings together hospitality professionals from across India to participate in national-level skill competitions and industry knowledge sessions.

The event was inaugurated by Sonica Malhotra, who attended as the Chief Guest.
The platform is witnessing participation from over 400 hospitality professionals competing across multiple categories including Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage Service, and Sales. The competitions are being evaluated by a distinguished panel of 70 jury members from the hospitality fraternity, while the event is also attended by more than 200 senior hospitality leaders, including Vice Presidents, CEOs, and General Managers.
A key highlight of the initiative is the participation of persons with disabilities, who are competing alongside other professionals in hospitality competition categories. This initiative reflects AHP’s ongoing commitment to promoting inclusivity and equal opportunity within the hospitality industry.
Day One Highlights
The opening day of AHP Aatithya Mandapam featured several competitions including Art of Bed Making, Guess the Linen, and Stain Removal. The day also included a masterclass on STAS Chemical Products, an industry interaction session on Artificial Intelligence in hotels, and an engaging talk show with hospitality experts.
A live podcast-style session titled “Roseate Hotels & Resorts – The Intelligent Hotel: Where Technology Thinks Ahead of the Guest” brought together Kush Kapoor and Devipshita Gautam. The discussion explored how technology, digital innovation, and smart hospitality solutions are shaping the future of hotel operations and guest experiences.
Competitions and Industry Sessions Ahead
Over the next four days, the pavilion will host a range of competitions and knowledge-sharing sessions, including Situation Handling in Front Office, Design Your Hotel, Art of Towel Folding, Art of Napkin Folding, Art of Table Setup, and Sales Pitch challenges.
In addition to competitions, the event will feature masterclasses and panel discussions addressing key industry themes such as emerging hospitality trends, sustainability in housekeeping, hotel sales strategies, and inclusivity in the hospitality sector.
Speaking about the initiative, Devipshita Gautam, Founder and Chairperson of AHP, said,

By bringing together professionals, industry leaders and persons with disabilities on one platform, we aim to encourage skill development, inclusivity, and professional growth within the sector.”
Recognition of Industry Leaders
During the event, AHP will also honour 50 senior hospitality leaders, including Vice Presidents, CEOs, and General Managers, with awards recognising their significant contributions to the hospitality industry.
