Panchkula, Haryana: The Sanatan Sanskriti Jagran Abhiyan, organized by Vishwa Jagriti Mission at Shalimar Ground in Panchkula, was marked by immense grandeur and spiritual energy. During this four-day event, the Mission’s 5th Gurukul project, proposed for Punjab, was inaugurated. This Gurukul will develop as a confluence of culture, education, and service in India. Previously, Vishwa Jagriti Mission had established three Gurukuls in Nagpur, Kanpur, and Delhi, while the 4th Gurukul was unveiled in Kolkata. Now, this fifth Gurukul proposed for Punjab will write a new chapter in the model education-culture journey and will undoubtedly prove to be a milestone for the Mission’s resolution to establish 10 Gurukuls.
During the program, the progress of the Sanskar Kendras (cultural centres) operated by the Mission was also highlighted. Vishwa Jagriti Mission aims to establish 108 Sanskar Kendras across the country, 32 of which are already active, and the establishment of the remaining centres is progressing rapidly. Through these centres, children benefit from ‘Sanskar Nursery’ where discipline, gratitude, values, and national spirit are being sown.
The dignified presence of special guests further enhanced the divine splendour of the event. On this occasion, the Honourable Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini; Yog Guru Swami Ramdev Ji; Acharya Balkrishna Ji; the Honourable Governor of Haryana, Aseem Kumar Ghosh; the Honourable Governor of Punjab, Gulab Singh Kataria; the Honourable Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shiv Pratap Shukla; former Honourable Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur; and the Honourable Speaker of the Haryana Assembly, Harwinder Kalyan, marked their presence. Addressing the four-day Sanatan Sanskriti Jagran Abhiyan Mahotsav in Panchkula, Param Pujya Maharajshri Ji said that a person who possesses the strength to control and compose oneself is truly religious. He emphasized that the spirit of forgiveness and the ability to stay balanced in challenging times reflect true religiosity. He added that a life guided by religious values is pure and meaningful, and those who act with wisdom and understanding are deserving of being called religious and Sanatani. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, he reminded the gathering that the moment one makes a decision is the moment when destiny is shaped, underscoring that religion should always be an integral part of life.
-Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj
“In the present time, it is essential to awaken the youth. We see that after Covid, mental health challenges like depression, loneliness, and behavioural issues have increased among young people.
While intelligence and technological knowledge are growing, little attention is given to managing one’s mind, emotions, and behaviour. True happiness does not come from the outside world, it is found when we connect with our roots and with our own self.
That is why through our Sanskar Kendras and Gurukuls, we aim to blend Sanatan values with modern education, nurturing both IQ and EQ. “
-Dr. Archika Didi, the Vice Chairperson of Vishwa Jagriti Mission
For only when knowledge is guided by values can it become a source of positivity, creativity, and service to the nation and humanity.”
Organized jointly by the Punjab, Himachal, and Haryana chapters, the objective of this program is to disseminate the values of India’s Sanatan culture to every individual and connect the new generation with the ‘Sanskar Kranti’ (cultural revolution). The attendance of thousands of devotees at this event has proven that India’s roots are still nourished by culture, harmony, and faith.
Through this event, Vishwa Jagriti Mission made it clear that the Sanatan Sanskriti Jagran Abhiyan is not a limited initiative but a continuous national movement working towards establishing values rooted in India on a global scale. This program held in Panchkula is a golden chapter in this series, which has generated a new wave of cultural consciousness not only in Haryana but throughout North India. This campaign is a sacred endeavor to unite society, awaken the mind, and reconnect India with its soul.
