Bangalore, India, June 19th, 2025: On June 14th, the Prabath Kaladwarka Auditorium at the Koramangala Club came alive with the vibrant sounds and sights of Magical Melodies Fiesta, an annual performance by the talented students of the Serena Anthony Music Academy. This enchanting evening showcased the Academy’s unique approach to music education—where technical mastery meets expressive performance in an atmosphere of warmth, mentorship, and creativity.
The evening began with classical elegance as Abigail and Abileah Mark Samuel delivered a moving vocal duet of Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus, accompanied by none other than Serena Anthony herself on piano. What followed was a beautifully curated series of piano and strings collaborations—from the stately Passacaglia by Handel-Halvorsen to the fiery Libertango and Florian Christi’s ethereal Fly. Each performance was a testament to the students’ dedication and to Serena’s exceptional ability to shape young musicians into confident, expressive performers.
One of the standout moments came in the first half, when Serena Anthony took center stage to perform Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen, delivering a captivating and vocally rich performance that drew enthusiastic applause. Her artistry reminded the audience of the depth of experience and passion behind the Academy’s teaching ethos.
The second half of the evening transformed the auditorium into a theatrical world of color and emotion with a fully staged production of Encanto – The Musical. Led by Riana Shruti Daniel as Mirabel and supported by a dynamic young cast, the production featured beloved songs like Surface Pressure, Dos Oruguitas, and All of You. The performance was enhanced by stunning LED visuals and immersive backdrops, expertly crafted and managed by Arbab Ahmad and his team, which brought the magical Madrigal world to life in vivid detail.
What made the evening truly special was the opportunity it gave every performer, from solo pianists to ensemble vocalists, was given space to shine. The seamless fusion of music, movement, and multimedia storytelling reflected Serena Anthony’s broader vision of fusing classical music education with dramatic arts and innovation.
With over 20 years of teaching experience and a résumé that includes a first-place win at the American Protégé International Piano Competition and a Carnegie Hall performance, Serena Anthony brings global excellence and heartfelt mentoring to her students every day. Many of them have gone on to study at prestigious music programs worldwide—performances like Magical Melodies Fiesta show exactly why.
