Actors Janki Bodiwala, Hiten Kumar, Hitu Kanodia and Monal Gajjar visit Delhi ahead of the release of Vash Vivash Level 2

Delhi, 21 August 2025: ‘The curse that never left’ ; after the record-breaking response for Vash, the makers are back with the much-awaited release of Vash Vivash Level 2. The first instalment of the franchise, the 2023 Gujarati supernatural thriller Vash, proved to be a game-changer for Gujarati cinema becoming a box office hit and earning the prestigious National Award for Best Gujarati Film. The cast visited the capital city, Delhi, soaking in the city’s rich history, and culinary treasures while meeting fans and interacting with the media.

Now, the chilling saga returns with Vash Vivash Level 2 written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik and produced by Kalpesh Soni and Krunal Soni. The film will release in theatres in Gujarati as Vash Level 2 and in Hindi across India on August 27, 2025. With a stellar ensemble of Janki Bodiwala, Hiten Kumar, Hitu Kanodia, Monal Gajjar, Chetan Daiya, and Prem Gadhavi, this chapter promises to raise the stakes with more intensity, emotional depth, and supernatural intrigue.

Actress Janki Bodiwala shared, “Delhi = Food… from Chandni Chowk to Paranthe wali gully… Delhi always has this energy that instantly lifts you. Between promotions, I made it a point to enjoy the city’s food — from chole bhature to the street-side momos. Delhi has a way of making you feel at home even if you’re here just for two days. Meeting the fans here reminded me why I love bringing stories like Vash Vivash Level 2 to different audiences.”

For veteran actor Hiten Kumar, the trip was also a journey down memory lane. “I have been to Delhi many times for shoots, and every time I come back, I’m reminded why it’s so special. This time, we had some free moments to walk through India Gate and enjoy the evening breeze. There’s a certain pride and history in Delhi that you can’t miss, and sharing that with the team was wonderful.”

Actor Hitu Kanodia, who returns to the franchise with Level 2, said “It’s always nice to come to Delhi — the first thing I do is make time for the chaat here, it’s truly unmatched. Beyond the food, the city is a treasure trove of art and heritage. From its historic monuments to its vibrant galleries and street performances, Delhi has a charm that blends the old and the new so beautifully. Every visit feels like a mix of indulgence and inspiration.”

Monal Gajjar, who plays a pivotal role in the sequel, added, “Delhi is a melting pot — the art, the food, the markets. Even during our busy schedule here, the warmth of everyone we met made it such a memorable stop on our Vash Vivash Level 2 journey.”

After leaving their mark in Delhi, the team is ready to captivate audiences. The film is backed by producers Kalpesh Soni and Krunal Soni and helmed by writer-director Krishnadev Yagnik.

Vash Level 2 and the Hindi version Vash Vivash Level 2, will hit the theatres on August 27, 2025.
