Shri Arun Govil was felicitated and presented with a memento by Shri Anupal Agarwal. The meditation programme was attended by around thousand practitioners and meditation enthusiasts. A guided Heartfulness meditation session was held as part of the inauguration programme.
Shri Arun Govil – Member of Parliament said, “I meditate regularly to relieve myself of stress and tiredness. And I can vouch for the fact that even if you take twenty minutes of your time everyday to meditate, there is nothing better you can do for yourself. Human mind is fickle by nature. We have unwanted visuals with thoughts. When we focus on the heart during meditation, it is a lot easier to get rid of these visuals. By heart we don’t’ necessarily mean the physical heart, but the light within. There are very few who reach the ultimate state of a meditative mind. But the baby steps we take in meditation while carrying on our daily duties is itself is very beneficial in terms of ‘sadhna’. We must take the best advantage of the human life and progress towards enlightenment and this is success in the truest terms; and in which the role of a true guru is instrumental. When the guru finds his disciple half the job is done.”
Shri Arun Govil ji was presented with The Holy Tirthankaras – the latest bestseller by Revered Daaji – Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission.
The free three-day meditation programme is open to anyone interested in learning meditation. On-spot registrations are open. One can also register through QR code on invitation.
