Kharagpur, West Bengal, Sep 08: Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Private Limited, one of India’s construction equipment manufacturers, has inaugurated a new warehouse at its Kharagpur manufacturing facility in West Bengal, further strengthening its supply chain capabilities and commitment to delivering faster, more reliable support to customers across the country.
The new warehouse was inaugurated in presence of Mr. Hiroshi Hosokawa, President – Spare Parts & Service Business Unit and Executive Officer by Mr. Sandeep Singh, Managing Director, Tata Hitachi, along with senior leadership and employees of Tata Hitachi.
The state-of-the-art facility is designed to enhance the company’s warehousing and inventory management capabilities, enabling more efficient handling and availability of critical parts and components. The facility will contribute towards improving supply chain efficiency, streamlining inventory movement and supporting Tata Hitachi’s endeavour to minimise equipment downtime for its customers.
Mr. Hiroshi Hosokawa, President – Spare Parts & Service Business Unit and Executive Officer, highlighted the importance of a robust aftermarket ecosystem in supporting customers through the entire lifecycle of their machines. The new facility further reinforces Tata Hitachi’s focus on building a responsive and efficient parts and service network that supports machine uptime and customer productivity.
