May 23: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced that the first consignment of flavoured iced tea from Bhopal has been successfully exported to Switzerland, marking a significant step for India’s growing beverage export sector.
The shipment highlights the rising global demand for Indian-made value-added food and beverage products. According to the minister, the export reflects the government’s continued efforts to promote local manufacturers and expand India’s presence in international markets.
Produced in Bhopal, the flavoured iced tea represents the increasing innovation within India’s food processing industry, where companies are focusing on quality, unique flavours, and global standards to attract overseas consumers.
