13th International Art of Giving Day Marked Across 190 Countries

Bhubaneswar, May 19: The 13th International Art of Giving Day, inspired by the vision of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, was observed across 190 countries spanning six continents, marking a wide global participation in the annual initiative.

The movement was celebrated at around 50,000 locations worldwide, with participation reported from various countries, Indian states and Union Territories, as well as cities, towns, district headquarters, blocks, and panchayats. Organisers said the initiative also reached all FIVB member nations, reflecting its expanding international presence.

In Odisha alone, the observance took place at nearly 20,000 locations, highlighting strong local engagement with the campaign.

According to organisers, this year’s edition of the International Art of Giving Day reached and impacted an estimated 2.5 crore people globally, including participants, supporters, and well-wishers associated with the movement.

The initiative continues to promote the message of compassion, sharing, and social responsibility, encouraging people to contribute positively to their communities through acts of kindness and generosity.
