Pushkar Singh Dhami Visits Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital for Facility Inspection

Feb, 27:In a historic moment, the  Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, graced his presence at the Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital, Pipalkoti. His visit aligns with the government and the hospital authority’s shared vision of enabling quality healthcare with ease of access to remote and mountainous communities.  The management team of the charitable healthcare organisation welcomed him during his inspection and gave him a comprehensive tour of the facility. The hospital administration briefed him on the institution’s healthcare services, emergency systems, diagnostic facilities, and patient care procedures. 

This prestigious visit proves that the hospital’s efforts in bridging unavoidable healthcare gaps in unserved areas are being widely acknowledged. The facility continues to provide quality medical treatment to patients from remote villages and border areas, saving them from long-distance travel during emergencies for medical attention. 

While reviewing the hospital’s medical equipment, preparedness for emergencies, and specialist services, the Chief Minister interacted with doctors, nursing staff, and healthcare workers to understand the procedures of the facility. He also appreciated the entire staff’s unwavering dedication to making effective medical treatment accessible in such geographical and climatic challenges. 

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, 

“The Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital is efficiently managed by SVHMS, showcasing its unmatched dedication in serving people from unprivileged villages and mountainous areas.” He further praised the staff of the healthcare facility by adding, “The doctors and staff’s dedication is tremendous, even while working tirelessly in such difficult geographical conditions, and they continue to attend to the people of these regions. This is an inspirational work, and the government will further ensure to extend all the support in the betterment of healthcare infrastructure in the region.”

Dr. Praveen Kumar Reddy, the Director of Swami Vivekanand Health Mission Society, also expressed his gratitude for the Chief Minister’s visit. He gratefully stated,
