Pearson supports Anthropic’s expanded Claude certification program

As organizations look to build the skills needed to put AI to work, Anthropic has expanded its Claude Certification Program with four role-based certifications designed to validate the skills behind advising, designing, and building Claude solutions.

Pearson is supporting the program through its global assessment and credentialing infrastructure. Every exam is proctored, delivered through Pearson Professional Assessments, and requires test takers to validate their identity before beginning the assessment, with successful candidates receiving a digital badge through Credly by Pearson.

The four credentials include-

·         Claude Certified Associate: Foundations

·         Claude Certified Developer: Foundations

·         Claude Certified Architect: Foundations

·         Claude Certified Architect: Professional

According to Anthropic, the certifications are intended to map to real work and role-specific skills, spanning everyday practical use, development, and enterprise-scale architecture.

“AI is moving faster than most people’s ability to build the skills to use it confidently, and that gap is exactly what verified assessment is built to close. Anthropic has built the first proctored certification among AI labs that uses the same trusted infrastructure for skills, credentials, and verified outcomes that Pearson uses across professional licensure. This is another example that shows why Anthropic is a trusted AI partner for businesses globally,” said Vishaal Gupta, President, Enterprise Learning and Skills, Pearson.

Anthropic said the expanded program is designed to help enterprises gain confidence in the partners and professionals they choose to work with, with certifications granted through supervised, identity-verified exams that test the specific skills a role calls for. While Pearson describes the certification as validating the skills behind advising, designing, and building Claude solutions across practitioner, architect, and developer roles.
