The announcement comes amid a series of business and investor interactions in Toronto involving Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, who met industry leaders to discuss avenues for strengthening trade ties and boosting cross-border investments.
Officials said the proposed delegation will focus on expanding commercial partnerships, improving supply chain integration, and identifying new growth areas in trade, manufacturing, technology, and services.
The engagements reflect a renewed push to enhance economic collaboration between the two countries, with businesses on both sides showing interest in diversifying markets and strengthening long-term partnerships.
Industry observers noted that the planned trade mission could help accelerate investment dialogue and create a more structured framework for future economic cooperation between India and Canada.
