Shirpur, Sep 04: SVKM’s NMIMS Shirpur Campus welcomed students for the academic year 2026–27 through induction and orientation programmes organised by the Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering, School of Pharmacy & Technology Management, and B.Sc. Aviation programme. The programmes introduced students and parents to the academic environment, campus facilities, industry exposure and opportunities for holistic development.
MPSTME conducted its seven-day First-Year Induction Programme, featuring academic orientation, parent–teacher interactions, student clubs and forums, and a visit to SVKM’s Tapanbhai Mukeshbhai Patel Memorial Hospital & Research Center, Shirpur. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Shri Rajgopal Bhandari, Member, Managing Committee, SVKM, President, Shirpur Education Society and Mentor, NMIMS Shirpur Campus; Dr. Sunita Patil, Director, Mukesh Patel Technology Park; Dr. Venkatadri M, Associate Dean, MPSTME; and Dr. Bipin Jadhav, Head, Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities.
SPTM conducted its Induction and Orientation Programme for students of B.Pharm., B.Pharm. and MBA, and M.Pharm. and MBA. The programme included mentor–mentee and faculty–parent interactions, placement guidance, hospital and library visits, sessions on sports and campus life, and bridge courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Mr. Abhijeet Motiwale, Director, McW Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., was the Chief Guest, while Mr. Gaurav Ajmera, Director, Ajmera Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., was the Guest of Honour. An alumni interaction with Mr. Pushkar Kulkarni, Director, Auctifier Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., offered students insights into career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry.
The B.Sc. Aviation Second-Year Orientation Programme focused on the upcoming curriculum, academic calendar and practical learning opportunities. Students and parents also visited Shirpur Airport, gaining first-hand exposure to runway operations, aircraft handling and the functioning of the ATC tower.
