Speaking on the occasion, Piyush Goyal said,

“Skill development plays a crucial role in empowering youth and preparing them for meaningful employment. Supporting students through essential services such as nutrition helps them concentrate on learning and personal growth.”
The initiative is not limited to providing meals; it is also aimed at building a strong foundation for a brighter future for young people. Malabar Group has announced a CSR expenditure of ₹200 crore for the financial year 2026–27, which will support social transformation in areas such as education, hunger eradication, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and environmental conservation.

M.P. Ahammed, Chairman of Malabar Group, said that nutrition and education are deeply interconnected. “Through the ‘Hunger Free World’ initiative, we aim to help young people move toward self-reliance and economic empowerment. This initiative demonstrates how collaboration between the government and the corporate sector for social causes can create new opportunities for youth and contribute to the overall development of society.” The initiative serves as a strong example of how public-private partnerships can address critical social challenges while empowering the next generation.
